• New dendrimer synthesis and functionalization strategies.
• Biomedical applications of dendrimers as nu- cleic acid carriers (antisense oligonucleotides, interference RNA, etc) for cancer and HIV gene therapy.
• Biomedical applications of dendrimers as drug carriers (for anti-inflammatory agents, antiviral, antitumor agents, etc).
• Development of dendrimers as antiviral agents (especially as HIV inhibitors) and antibacterial agents.
• Development of adendrimers for neurodegener- ative diseases.
• Development of dendrimers in vaccines.
• Development of metal complexes for their anti- viral, antibacterial and/or anti-cancer use.
